Request a Quote
Tell us the machine, the route and the timing. A specialist reviews your equipment and returns a quote via email. Every quote is engineered to your load — no published rates, no generic list.
What to gather before you request.
The more detail you provide, the faster we can engineer the move and return a quote. These are the details that speed up the process — gather what you can and we will ask for the rest. Every detail helps us match the trailer, survey the route and plan the permits.
Machine details
Machine type, make and model if known. Any attachments — buckets, rippers, counterweights, booms — that travel with the machine or affect its dimensions.
Dimensions & mass
Length × width × height in metres, and operating mass in tonnes. These determine the trailer, the permit class and the route. Spec sheets usually carry these figures.
Pickup & delivery
Suburb or address for both ends. Gate widths, overhead clearance, ground condition and turning paths at each site — note anything that might constrain a low-loader or float.
Timing
Required date or preferred window. Oversize and overmass moves may need permits and travel windows planned in advance — the earlier you tell us, the more options we have.
Access details that change the plan.
Site access is the most common thing that stalls a heavy machinery move — a gate too narrow, an overhead too low, ground too soft. These are the access points to check and note in your request. We survey them before dispatch, but the more you tell us up front, the faster we can engineer the right move.
Gate & entrance width
Measure the narrowest gate or entrance the truck and trailer must pass through at both pickup and delivery. A low-loader combination is wider than a standard truck — if the gate is under 4m, tell us and we will plan the trailer and approach around it.
Overhead clearance
Powerlines, awnings, tree branches and overhead structures at the site and along the internal access road. Tall plant on a low-loader may need a different route or a widener setup — note any overheads under 5m.
Ground condition
Sealed yard, gravel pad, dirt verge or soft ground. A loaded low-loader concentrates mass — if the ground is soft or unpaved, we may need matting or an alternate positioning plan. Note the surface type at both ends.
Turning & sweep paths
Is there room for a low-loader combination to turn and position at the site? Narrow estate roads, tight corners and compact civil pads may require a machinery float instead. Note any turning constraints and we will match the trailer to the site.
Site photos help
Photos of the pickup and delivery sites — gates, entrances, overheads and the set-down area — let us assess access before dispatch. Attach them to the form or email them to contact@brisbanelowloaders.com.au with your other details.
