How a Brisbane Low Loaders Move Works
Every movement is engineered to the load and the corridor. Here is the path from first request to delivered machine — plus equipment guidance to help you pick the right trailer for your machine.
Which trailer for your machine.
Not sure whether you need a low-loader, a machinery float or an oversize setup? Here is the practical guide — send the details and we will confirm the right fit as part of the quote. The right trailer is matched to your load, not a default deck.
Low-loader
Tall, heavy or oversize plant
Deck-height trailer for excavators, crawler cranes, dozers and transformers — the load rides low for clearance. Choose this for tall or overmass machinery that cannot travel on a standard trailer. Multi-axle for heavy loads, wideners for wide loads.
Machinery float / tilt-tray
Self-loading tracked & wheeled plant
Hydraulic tilt-tray that loads the machine without a separate crane. Choose this for excavators, dozers and skid steers moving between civil and construction sites where access allows. Ideal for tight civil sites where a low-loader cannot manoeuvre.
Oversize / overmass
Wide, long or tall cargo
Permit-managed multi-axle and widener setup with pilots and escorts. Choose this for wide loads, long loads, transformers and industrial modules that exceed standard dimensions. Permits, route surveys and pilot escorts arranged in-house.
Four steps from request to delivery.
From the first message to the machine on site, the process is the same — planned, quoted and carried by one SEQ specialist. No published rates, no generic list; a real logistics plan per load.
Tell us the load
Send the machine type, pickup and delivery, dimensions, operating mass and timing — via the request form or email. Site photos and spec sheets help us engineer the move faster.
We engineer the move
Trailer selection, permit check, escort needs and route survey are planned to your load and the SEQ corridor — before a wheel turns, not after.
You receive a quote
A quote is returned per request — engineered to the load, the route and the timing. Never a generic list, never a published rate.
We move the machine
Coordinated pickup, transit and delivery across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich, with handover on site.
The details that speed up your quote.
The more we know about the machine and the sites, the faster we can engineer the move. Send what you have — we will ask for the rest. Every detail helps us match the trailer, survey the route and plan the permits.
Why every job is quoted individually.
Every heavy machinery movement is different — the machine, the route, the permits, the timing and the access all change the job. A published list cannot reflect that. Brisbane Low Loaders is quote-only so every move is engineered to the load, and a quote is returned per request. No dollar figures, no rate bands, no generic pricing — a real logistics plan per load.
What happens once your request is in.
From the moment you submit, a specialist takes over. Your request is reviewed, the trailer is matched to your load, the route is surveyed, permits are lodged if needed, and a quote is returned via email. No automated pricing — every quote is engineered to the load.
Request reviewed
A specialist reviews your machine type, dimensions, mass, route and timing. We may ask for site photos or spec sheets if not already provided.
Trailer matched
The right trailer is selected for your load — low-loader, machinery float or oversize setup. Multi-axle for heavy, widener for wide, tilt-tray for self-loading.
Route surveyed
The SEQ route is surveyed for height, width, mass and turning paths. Permits and pilot escorts are lodged if the load is oversize or overmass.
Quote returned
A quote is returned via email — engineered to your load, route and timing. No published rates, no generic list. You approve, we move the machine.
