Low Loader Transport for Brisbane Plant and Heavy Machinery
Deck-height low loader transport engineered for the tall, heavy and oversize plant that Brisbane construction and civil projects actually move. Multi-axle low-loaders spread load for heavy machinery; wideners extend the deck for wide loads. Every move is planned from access check to delivery handover — and quoted to your machine, never a generic list.

How we plan and carry the move
Access & route checks
We assess pickup and delivery access — gate widths, overhead clearance, ground bearing and sweep paths — and survey the SEQ route for height, width and mass constraints before any permit is lodged.
Loading preparation
The low-loader deck is selected to suit your machine's dimensions and weight, then lowered and positioned for deck-height loading where site access allows. Multi-axle for overmass, widener for wide loads.
Tie-down verification
The machine is secured with chain and tensioned restraints suited to its weight and attachment points, and the restraint is checked before departure under chain-of-responsibility expectations.
Delivery handover
On arrival the machine is unloaded under direction and positioned as the site allows; the move is complete once the load is clear of the trailer and the area left tidy.
Loading & site access
Deck-height loading
Low-loaders load at deck height — tracked machines drive or winch on over ramps where ground is firm and level. We confirm ramp angle, machine clearance and deck capacity before loading.
Overhead & width clearance
Tall plant rides low for bridge and powerline clearance; wide loads use widener decks. We check the route and both sites for overheads, gate widths and sweep paths — Gateway Motorway, Ipswich Motorway and M1 pinch points.
Ground bearing
A loaded low-loader concentrates mass. We assess pickup and delivery ground — sealed yards, gravel pads or soft verges — and plan matting or alternate positioning if needed.
Attachments & overhang
Buckets, booms and counterweights may travel detached or overhang the deck. We plan how each attachment is secured and whether widener extension is required.
Pre-move safety checklist
Machine dimensions and operating mass confirmed against deck capacity
Pickup and delivery access measured — gate width, overhead height, turning sweep
Route surveyed for bridge height, powerline clearance and mass limits
Oversize/overmass permit lodged for the surveyed route
Pilot vehicles and escorts arranged to load width and mass
Load restraint — chains, tensioners, blocking — verified before departure
Attachments secured or detached and stowed within the load envelope
Delivery site contact and positioning confirmed before dispatch
What to send with your request
To prepare your quote, send the machine type, dimensions (length × width × height) and operating mass, a few site photos, any spec sheets or attachment details, the pickup and delivery locations, and your preferred window. Every quote is engineered to the load and route.
Capability
Multi-axle low-loaders that spread load for heavy construction plant and overmass movements across Brisbane and SEQ.
Wideners for wide loads where deck width must extend beyond standard for oversize machinery.
Low deck height for tall machinery — cranes, boom lifts and plant that cannot travel on standard trailers.
Permit, escort and route-survey coordination handled in-house for SEQ corridors — Gateway, Ipswich Motorway, M1 and Bruce Highway.
Chain-secured, deck-height loading for safe transit of tracked and wheeled heavy equipment.
Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich coverage from a single SEQ specialist — not a national operator.
SEQ corridor context
Gateway Motorway (M1) clearances
Tall plant on low-loaders routes via the Gateway Motorway; bridge heights and tunnel clearances are checked per move, not assumed. The Gateway and Logan Motorway interchanges are well-known pinch points for oversize loads.
Ipswich Motorway (M7) access
Wacol and Darra industrial estates link via the Ipswich Motorway; estate access widths, turning paths and overhead services are surveyed before dispatch, not on arrival.
Port of Brisbane receivals
Port discharge windows for import heavy receivals are coordinated with the port access schedule — not a standard arrival time. The port corridor has its own clearance and escort requirements.
After-hours coordination
Time-critical low-loader movements can be dispatched outside standard hours where the job demands it. Send the details and timing and we will plan the travel window into the route.
